Even Just Cause 3 gives me low system memory warnings when opening it up (even though I don't see any performance issues on my gaming desktop) and uses close to 6GB's on it's own.ĮDIT: Custom Drivers may not be available for the Intel HD series, you will have to research. I heard Deus Ex:Mankind Divided can use upwards of 12GB's of RAM on Ultra. I say this because even 8GB's is being easily used by modern AAA games. It won't help your integrated graphics to be running more RAM at this moment, but if you upgrade for higher speed RAM that can help squeeze a few more FPS out of games, you might as well future proof a little because DDR3 RAM is cheap as shit right now.

Also if you plan on putting in a serious GPU in the future to match your seriously strong CPU, go with 16GB's of RAM for modern AAA gaming and the future. I'd be looking for custom drivers* (can make a noticeable difference in certain games) and using the highest speed RAM the motherboard can handle. It uses system RAM dynamically and will use as much as it can to try and render the game you are playing. Forcing the integrated graphics to say it has 1024MB of VRAM will do nothing for your performance from my experiments with previous iterations of Intel integrated graphics in the past.
